About My Practice

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Since 2016, I have been providing counselling, assessment, and treatment services through my work with Randy Scott Clinical Services and in a variety of health care and community settings.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and couples facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, addiction, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, life transitions, and personal growth. I also have extensive experience providing specialized risk assessment and treatment services for individuals involved in the criminal justice system.

In addition to my professional experience, my own life experiences have shaped my understanding of resilience, growth, and the importance of feeling supported during difficult times. These experiences have strengthened my belief that meaningful change is possible and have contributed to the empathy, compassion, and understanding I bring to my work with clients.

I believe that meaningful change occurs when individuals feel respected, supported, and understood. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in authenticity. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can openly explore challenges, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies for moving forward.

My practice draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), strengths-based interventions, and the Good Lives Model. I recognize that every individual brings unique experiences and needs to the counselling process, and I tailor my approach accordingly.

Whether you come to my practice as an individual seeking support, as part of a couple looking to strengthen your relationship, or as someone involved in the criminal justice system seeking assessment or treatment services, you can expect to be treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring life's challenges, and identifying meaningful steps toward change. I believe that feeling understood and supported is an important part of the therapeutic process. I welcome the opportunity to connect with you, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether my approach and services are the right fit for your needs.
